Walk the Talk in Krinklewood Vineyard and Farm: The advantages of using biodynamics to deliver high quality produce Part 1 of 5

Video Transcript

Rod:
We send some pigs to couple of restaurants in Sydney 2 weeks ago, and we got feed, unsolicited feedback from both of them saying that is the best pork that they have ever seen.

Hugo:
Amazing. It’s not amazing, it’s expected, really.

Hamish:
This is where…When I worked in the bakery in Sydney in 70’s and 80’s, there was only small demand, and I maintained 90 percent of the people became customers of the bakery in Sydney. Did so have the necessity, bad health programs. And that was the main driver, there was only 5 or 10 percent of chemical taste. But those who came from health problems, and developed the taste, you know, and grew their sort of health question, turned into a plus in the end for them, because they got better food. And that activity could really grow very much, because they weren’t the people growing the products.
So, there is no point in games consumers are saying, hey guys, here’s some great taco, if there was no in growing it. And that’s what’s exciting now, because there is more and more projects been grown by people like Rod. And so OK, it’s only a couple of restaurants, a couple of pigs, but the word is out there, this is quality stuff. And that will encourage more people to grow pigs in a better way, and we’ll gradually change the whole culture.
And I don’t focus on the cages, or whatever. What we got to do is get out there and make a possible for people to grow pigs or beef or wine. You know, in sustainable and ecologically sound way. And the skills of their, it’s just now a matter of growing skills up. And the skills we always improve. And be developed. And that’s another aspect. The more people we get going into this biological, organic sustainable bionomic approach the sooner we’re going to get new initiatives, people waking up with new ideas, and growing the ideas out and improving our outcomes.
