One of our members who is a neighbor of Diana’s lent us the book which Hugo while reading it realised that he needed a copy of his own and which has led to us making it available to all of you.
Chemical Crisis. One Woman’s Story, Humanity’s Future? Diana Crumpler
363 pages. This book tells an alarming story and issues a health warning which must not be ignored. The author is a victim of exposure to pesticides and petrochemical products and contends that since the 2nd World War there has been a rapid rise in serious disorders such as cancer, asthma, arthritis, diabetes and migraine.
Diana had to track down what was making her sick and on the way discovered ‘the truth’ which she is determined we should all know. Hugo says: “This book is a must for everyone. The more I read it was easy to see the effect chemicals have on all of us, not just directly but indirectly in a multitude of ways. It is a very good starting point and for us all to take some corrective action.”
