Is this growth in soil nutrients the most controversial graph in it’s time? Why?

Increases in soil nutrients – Why? Tim Wright saw the levels increase in phosphorous and calcium in 2 short years after he changed to planned grazing. Who would believe it if he told the story? Instead Tim engaged scientist Judy Earl to come and monitor what had taken place and her records show that the changes were indeed correct and that the increase in nutrients have been maintained and held.
Previously Tim had paddocks covered in thistles and seriously considered spraying now he had nutrient cycling.
How did Tim achieve this without adding any fertilisers? Tim changed his ways and simply gave the paddocks a good rest giving development of deeper root growth. Some say this will reduce his nutrients further and lead to having to put the nutrients back on. However practice is proving that the opposite in fact is the case.
