Slow Food Nations Festival 2018
July 13 - July 15
Slow Food Nations Festival is coming to Denver, CO on July 13-15. The Festival is hosted by Slow Food, a global, grassroots organization founded to prevent the disappearance of local food cultures and traditions, counteract the rise of fast life, and combat people’s dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, and how our food choices affect the world around us.
Savory CEO, Daniela Ibarra-Howell, will participate on Saturday, July 14, in the Future of Farming Summit. The summit will focus on the role of agriculture in communities and ecosystems. The discussion will include the topics of sustainable agriculture, rural communities, land management, and the next generation of farmers – don’t miss it!
Slow Food Nations is a free festival packed with delicious food and drink, hands-on culinary workshops, engaging talks, and plenty of dinners and parties! It’s aimed to connect people with the producers behind their food and to celebrate heritage food cultures and traditions. It’s for foodies, families and friends!
Some highlights include:
→Explore the Taste Marketplace on Larimer Square, an open-air market featuring more than 75 exhibitors sampling and selling their delicious products.
