Mornington Peninsula Food Forum

April 24 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm

$40

2018 Mornington Peninsula Food Forum: building a resilient, agile food economy on the Mornington Peninsula.

What: This one day forum will bring together local food growers, makers and advocates to tackle key issues and opportunities around food production on the Mornington Peninsula.

  1. Agri-tourism. The ‘golden egg’ of opportunity but how do businesses make it work and what are customers looking for?
  2. Food Distribution: With so much quality produce grown on the Peninsula how can we shorten the food miles and strengthen the connection between food producer and food consumers?
  3. New ideas in a changing landscape: Staying relevant and profitable in today’s foo economy means thinking on your toes and staying agile. What can we learn from businesses doing it well?

Full program to be released soon. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea included.

MPP certified producers: 50% discount on up to two tickets per producer.

This event is being run by the Mornington Peninsula Shires Food Industry Advisory Body (FIAB) with a Ripe For Change grant and financial support from the Westerport Catchment Landcare Network.
