This event is relevant for food businesses, health workers, farmers, environment and landcare groups, community gardeners, neighbourhood houses, community groups, teachers, community members and anyone else with an interest in food!
Renowned food entrepreneur Devita Davidson of FoodLab Detroit is the keynote speaker, you can view one of her inspiring Ted Talks here alongside a business transition and land succession roundtable with Next Rural, one of Australia’s leading succession planning specialists.
The day will also feature panel discussions on innovative approaches to protecting farmland, and enabling land access for new farmers; distribution gaps and opportunities for local farmers; and community and education initiatives to enhance food and environmental literacy.
