East Gippsland Vegetable Innovation Days 2020

May 2020 is going to be a very exciting month for those of us involved in the vegetable industry in Gippsland and Australia more broadly, and even more so this year as East Gippsland comes to terms with the impacts of the bushfires. It has been an extraordinary start to 2020, a tremendous amount of land has been burnt and many of our communities have been devastated, both physically and economically. Fortunately though, the Lindenow Valley – the site of the East Gippsland Vegetable Innovation Days – has not been directly impacted by the fires and planning for May’s events is well underway.

The Organising Committee is planning a full week of first class opportunities to showcase what we all love about the Australian vegetable industry – Innovation, Superb Quality, Dedication.

As well as two days in Lindenow (Thursday 7 & Friday 8 May), this year we are incorporating the Tenth International Spinach Conference, to be held down the road in Lakes Entrance on the Wednesday. This adds a significant international flavour to the week, which will bring more people to both events – international growers, researchers and industry – increasing return on investment. As this will be the biggest horticulture event held in Victoria and possibly Australia, major sponsorship will be captured by a national and international audience.

A range of sponsorship opportunities are outlined in the attached Sponsorship Prospectus, from individual Roaming Licences to Major Event Sponsorship – you can even bid on a Key Event Feature.

Block out the week 4 May – 8 May 2020 and make your way to Bulmer Farms in Lindenow and the magnificent seaside village of Lakes Entrance to mingle with our targeted 1,000 attendees.

For an idea of what to expect, the attached Save the Date provides for an overview of the week’s program and you can see what we got up to in 2017 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7IKh5GukCc
